Flex allows you to add custom questions to your patient's online scheduling process.
To enable this feature:
- Access your Flex settings
- Navigate to your FlexSchedule/FlexBook tab
- Select the 'add questions' button:
Once selected a window will pop up allowing you to add any number of questions with their own criteria. Simply choose your question type, condition, age restriction, and type in your question and answers. You may also enable/disable making these questions required.
Note: The 'Question Type' will designate how you want your patient to answer your question. (ie: Text means that your patient will answer your question with typed text. Dropdown allows you to display answers to your questions in a drop-down format.)
On v7.8.3 or above, users can add conditional logic to their FlexSchedule custom questions based on appointment type.
To enable:
- Toggle 'Specify Appointment Types' to blue
- Use the drop-down to select your appointment types.
- Save
Note: If a user enables this option, the custom question will only display for the specified appointment types.
After the appointment is scheduled, the patient's answer to these questions will be added to the Open Dental Appointment Note.
