We are excited to provide the ability for patients to interact with your online booking platform in Spanish!
The setup is simple and is outlined below.
- Head to the Flex Settings page (ensure you are signed in as an admin user to view the settings gear)
- Navigate to the FlexSchedule tab and toggle on "Allow for FlexSchedule Translation"
- You will notice a new button has been added labeled Translations
- In the next screen, you will be able to manually translate customizable aspects of the online booking process. Flex will automatically translate the pieces of the online booking process that cannot be customized.
The Appointments tab will pull in the Appointment Names + Descriptions in English and provide a text field for you to enter the Spanish translation.
The Insurance tab will pull in the customized messaging that displays when patients select an in-network insurance, an out-of-network insurance and those without insurance.
The Custom Fields tab will pull in the custom questions you have added as well as the text you have added if Credit Cards are in use with FlexSchedule. - Navigate to your online booking page and you will now see a button in the upper right allowing the user to swap the page to Spanish.
When clicked, the process will switch to Spanish. The user will be able to swap back to English by clicking the same button.
And you're all set! All patient information will come back into your system in the same way the patient entered. Be aware that patients may provide Spanish answers to your custom questions and the office will need to translate those manually. Flex will not translate any patient information to ensure accuracy.
