Which Recall Types Can I Send Reminders For?

Flex enables you to choose the recall types you want to include when sending out 'Recall Reminders', provided that your recall automation is enabled in your 'Timeline' settings.

To select which recall types you want Flex to recognize, follow these steps: Settings > Texts & Emails > General Settings:

Next, scroll to the bottom of the page to find your ‘Recall Settings’ section. This is where you are able to ‘Select Recall Types To Send Messages For’, as well as set the 'Max Days Overdue Allowed.' 

In the example below, Flex will send recall reminders for the ‘Perio’ recall type, and the system will send reminders to patients who are passed their due date by up to a year (365 days):

After your settings are configured, to ensure your recall reminders are enabled navigate to your 'Timeline' and enable any combination of the 5 recall reminder opportunities.
