Can I Exclude Weekends?

Flex gives you the option to choose whether you want to exclude Saturday and/or Sunday when sending automated text and email reminders/confirmations for patient appointments.

To access these settings follow these steps: Settings > Texts & Emails > General Settings: 

From here, scroll down until you find the first two toggles that allow you to disable Saturday and/or Sunday from automation:

If one or both of these are enabled, Flex will no longer send most appointment reminders/confirmations for those day(s). Same-day text reminders and review texts will still be sent if a patient happens to have an appointment that day. 

When disabling texts from sending on Saturday and/or Sunday, Flex will instead look for the previous available day. For example: 

• If a text message would have normally been sent on Saturday based on your schedule, it will be sent on Friday instead.
• If a text message would have normally been sent on Sunday based on your schedule, it will be sent on Friday instead.
