Excluding Appointment Statuses For Confirmations

Flex reads your patients' appointments, including their current appointment status. With this capability, Flex allows you to specify which statuses should not receive Flex Confirmations.

A primary example of this would be if your staff has already manually confirmed the appointment.

To access these settings follow these steps: Settings > Texts & Emails > General Settings:

Now, scroll down until you find the ‘Confirmation Settings’ section where you will see the ‘Appointment Confirmation Statuses To Exclude From Receiving Confirmation Texts and Emails’. From here you can now select which status to exclude from receiving Flex Confirmation Texts/Emails. 

In the example below the highlighted appointment statuses will no longer receive Flex Confirmation Texts/Emails. status_exclusions.png
