The Flex Communicator allows you to send and receive patient text messages within your practice, as well as manage real-time communication between team members.
This guide explains how to download & install the Flex Communicator.
Download the Flex Communicator
You can download the Communicator directly from within Flex.
Option 1: From the Flex Logo.

- In the top-right corner of Flex, click the Flex logo.
- Select Download Flex Communicator.
- In the top-right corner of Flex, click the Flex logo.
Option 2: From Settings in the Extras Tab - this requires Administrative User access.

- Go to Settings.
- Click Extras.
- Select the Download Flex Communicator icon.
- Go to Settings.
Install the Flex Communicator
The installation file will be saved to your computer.
- From your downloads folder, open the file and follow the installation instructions.
