How Do I Email/Text A Treatment Plan?

Flex allows you to sign treatment plans in house, and also the ability to send patients their treatment plans via text and/or email!

To send a treatment plan via text/email, first we need to navigate to a patient profile by searching for them, or selecting them on the schedule:

Next, select either the 'present' or 'consent' view of the patient's treatment plan to load the treatment:

Once selected, the patient's treatment will load with a row of icons on the top of the page. 
Select the 'arrow' icon to start the sending process:

Once selected you will be presented with the following options:

  • Include linked consent forms (learn more here!)
  • Display balance
  • Prompt for payment (requires FlexPay)
  • Amount to collect (requires FlexPay)
  • Include treatment plan note
  • Show insurance estimates
  • Allow Itemizing

Once you setup your settings to your liking, choose the email or text icons at the bottom. As long as your patient has a valid phone number or email address you will be presented with a 'successful' prompt.
