Payment Option Override

Flex has a feature known as 'payment option override' this will allow you to change your payment options on the fly before presenting treatment plans to your patients.

First you will need to access the override by going to your Flex settings, navigating to the 'treatment plan' tab, and choosing 'payment options general settings' sub-section:

Once here, toggle on the 'allow payment option override' feature, and click save.

Now, once you are viewing your 'present' view of your saved treatment plans you will notice an additional '+' icon on the left hand side:

Once clicked, a side bar will expand allowing you to customize your payment options on the fly:

This sidebar allows you to enable/disable payment options, and change the settings for each (duration in months, down payments, etc.)

AVAILABLE IN VERSION 6.4.0 AND ABOVE

In Flex version 6.4.0, functionality was introduced to allow a user to input the totals in addition to using the arrows in the override. As shown in the screenshot below, the Amt, Down Payment and Mgmt Fee fields can now be typed into directly which is useful when making larger changes requiring many clicks of the arrows in either direction!
