Flex allows you to view 'saved' treatment plans, and show your patients not only their treatment, but also payment options, finance options, and discount options.
First you will need to 'save' a treatment plan in your practice management system.
Once done, search for your patient in Flex:
Once you select your patient Flex will load their patient profile page which will list all saved treatment plans:
Once you select a treatment plan you will be shown two options 'consent' and 'present:'
There are some differences between the 'consent' and 'present' views for treatment plans listed below:
Present:
- Typically used 'day of treatment plan creation'
- Has payment options, finance options, discount plan, listed (if enabled)
- Typically used for the patient to agree upon what was created/cost
- Will show 'signed' in the practice management system
- Allows patient to 'pay now' if you have FlexPay
Consent:
- Typically used 'day of treatment'
- Has linked consents attached (if enabled) after signing
While you may use one, both, or neither of these options, the above description is the typical workflow.
Once signed via 'present' and or 'consent' views, Flex will create a .pdf and insert that into your patients account in Flex and the practice management system, and show visual text confirming the signature.
In the image below you can see the 'priority 1' treatment plan has the 'consent' view signed, while the 'proposed treatment plan' has the 'present' view signed:
