Can I Use My Office Number For Texting?

It is possible for Flex to utilize your current office's phone number for Flex texting.

The first thing to do is contact Flex support (feel free to click 'contact us' or 'live chat' in the chat width, call us at 866-488-1520, or email support via email support@flexdental.co

(chat is typically the fastest/easiest method for both parties)

Our agents will need to first see which carrier you are using your number through, as some have more stringent processes for sms hosting than others.

Please be aware, if another service is using the number for texting, that service will need to be dropped to allow Flex to take control of the sms (texting) portion of the number.

Checking your numbers status after reaching Flex support typically takes just a few minutes. 

However, depending on the carrier and the numbers status, hosting may or may not be possible, and if hosting is possible typically takes at least two days time.

If your number needs to be ported to a new carrier entirely, this process on the carrier level will usually take at least one weeks time.
