How Do I Change a User’s Password?

The easiest way to change any user's password is to visit your custom Flex website. Every practice's Flex website will vary but follows this template: https://custom.myflex.app:45622 (the 'custom' is unique to your office).

  • From the Flex login page, select the user from the drop-down list and select 'change password'. 

 

 

  • Enter the current password in the first field (this may still be the default password provided in the post-install email) and the new password in the next two fields.
    **If the passwords do not match, or either field is empty, a warning of 'Not Matching' will appear**

 

 

Once the passwords match:

  • 'Matching' text will display
  • Click 'Save Password'

 

Already logged in?

If you are already logged in to Flex, change the password by selecting the 'logout' icon, and following the steps above.

 

Already logged in as an administrative user?

Admin users will see the 'settings' icon (gear in the upper left).

  • Select the settings icon/gear, navigate to the ‘Server’ tab, and select ‘USER SETUP’.
    • After making changes and closing out of the ‘USER SETUP’ window, remember to click the ‘SAVE’ button located in the lower right of the ‘Server’ tab’s screen to ensure your changes have been saved. 

This method is helpful if a staff member has forgotten their current password.
